HanLeia Fic Recs: Secret
When I saw that one of today’s Scoundress Saturday prompts was “Secret,” I couldn’t get Madonna’s song by the same name out of my head... “My baby’s got a secret...” Thought it would be good to do a set of HanLeia fic recs with that theme.
So here we go:
Solo’s Girl by @knightedrogue: Part of her post-ROTJ AU in which Han and Leia are spies for New Republic Intelligence, this little fic is one I recommend a lot. It’s smart, sexy, and fun.
Something Not Comprehended by DarkLeia: Pre-ESB AU in which Han and Leia have a secret “not even friends but still with benefits” relationship and Han tries to turn it into romance. Multi-chapter smut with feelings, lots and lots of feelings, and a hefty dollop of angst.
Laying Down the Sand by @knitzkampf: An ESB and ROTJ AU in which Han leaves the gang to pay off Jabba before the Battle of Hoth. Leia and Luke confront their family secrets, and Leia and Han help to heal each other. There’s a lot of sadness, and a lot of tough content (some bad shit went down at Jabba’s before they got there), but it’s so beautifully done and engaging that I can’t recommend it enough.
Life by @madame-alexandra: The thing Luke wants to tell Leia is not exactly a secret -- she’s known it since it happened -- but she’d rather prefer to tell Han herself before the whole galaxy knows.
