Lilith is the dark side of the moon. She was casted into the shadows for her defiance. A woman who accepts her inner darkness and shadow self is considered a threat because true power lies within. The man’s ego was intimidated by the nature of a woman so we were told to suppress our power and use it to benefit only the masculine authority. Truth and honesty cuts through ego like a dagger. After all, an ego is only a mask used to protect the true nature of a person. Lilith is considered a succubus because of her ability to capture the souls of “sleeping men” through sex. By sleeping men, although it can also be literal, it also means unenlightened or weakened spirits. She is feared because she brings sexual freedom and liberation. Sex is the most intimate form of connection, the literal nakedness between two individuals (energies) as their souls (spaces) intertwine. This is why her nature is so dangerous because through sex she can internalize your truth and reflect that nakedness back to you. You cannot hide from that reflection.

I had a conversation with a friend about a month or 2 ago. She was scared of a few things. I reminded her about the power of "No". It is far too often when a woman says no she is negated. Called names because she knows how to wield her darkness. Your darkness is there to protect your light, trust and use it.
