How do I claim an art piece? 

You will fill out a googleform sheet on the day of claims. List your top 4 art choices. We will do our best to accommodate. But remember, it's first-come-first-serve.  For transparency, we will also link the answers to the forms. 

When are second claims? 

Second claims start on  July 14, 2022 at 10am PST after all art for the first rounds have been claim (2 days after Round 1)

SteveTony DarkFests is a community focusing on creating works featuring dark, angst, and other heavy themes for the Steve Rogers and Tony Stark pairing.

We will be running several events throughout the year, so stay tuned!

What do we mean by “darkfic”?

Think in relation to AO3's big warnings: Graphic Depictions of Violence, Major Character Death (MCD), Underage, and Rape/Non-Con. Typically, these works are considered outside the scope of your average fanfic, as they leave you with a feeling of horror, grief, sadness, loneliness, loss, uncertainty, heartache, or overall angst.

Some common themes might include but are not limited to: psychological trauma, gore, vore, (body) horror, emotional manipulation, MCD, abuse, non-consensual body modification/drug use, dub-con, non-con, gaslighting, betrayal, divorce, terminal illness, torture, and more.  

Current Events

SteveTony Acheronian Bingo (STAB): Our server as a whole is meant to introduce more darkfic and darkart into our fandom. As such, we are running STAB as a low-effort, low-responsibility event to help meet this goal. We believe that fanfiction and fanart are both opportunities to explore difficult topics that aren't normally discussed or are avoided in day-to-day life. We enjoy seeing topics that deal with all aspects of life—from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows—and believe that the more negative sides of human life deserve to be explored the same as the positive. The cards are server-wide, so don't feel pressured to make a bingo yourself!

Past Events: 

Stony’s Sad Secret Santa: This event is a play on the typical Secret Santa gift exchange. It is focused on creating dark/angst fics for the Steve/Tony pairing. What "dark" means is open to interpretation for each giftee, but common examples are AO3's Major Warnings: Rape/Non-Con, Underage, Major Character Death, and Graphic Violence. Not all fills have to feature these topics, but must contain some element of angst, sadness, and/or darkness within the fills. Each participant will be creating a work for another participant based upon their request.

The requirements for fic is a minimum of 3,000 words and maximum of 7,000 words. You are welcome to go over this limit, but please keep in mind the limits for your gifted fic as well. Art should be stand alone pieces made for the purposes of the exchange. Comics, digital art, and traditional art forms are welcome!
