Had a sudden....idea...headcanon...what you'd call it while drawing a Jolly Geologist comic. And while (STRUGGLING) to find a good picture of the Dark Worms, I noticed that Jolly's skull helmet is actually kinda similar to the Wormy heads.

I know they're actually quite huge (and the hole in the center is probably the big obvious difference), but maybe he found the skull of a young Wormy while looking for rocks? Not accusing him of killing one for a cool hat. He doesn't seem the violent type. I mean, he joined Nightbird Whisperer in bird watching. So he CLEARLY likes animals too.

Just a thought.

It’s the final new worm breed!!! Dark worms!!! They’re much like pastel worms in that they come in any color that rainbow worms come in, but instead of being lighter colored, they’re darker colored, and sometimes even come in black!

This particular friend seems to be a show worm champion, I’m so proud of them! Maybe their name should be Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen?
