#dark serge

So these were (almost?) all up on my old blog but I was talking to some people in a group chat tonight about Chrono Cross and realized I’d never reposted them over here. These are all from my unfinished fix-it fic, Golden Ending, in which Serge screws up in his deal with the Dragon Tear and doesn’t get his body back--but does get Harle. (He was always going to have to choose between the world or Harle, you know.)

I know I posted the top one already but the color overlay is cool so you get it again. These are all technically from Golden Ending, but aside from the last one they’re canon compliant enough to work without context. The last one is technically a huge spoiler, I guess, but that “Everybody Lives” tag is pretty close to literal–not to mention that I’m super unlikely to ever finish the fic in the first place and I know it, and this scene is so far ahead that it’s still completely out of sight, so trying to keep spoilers secret is every bit as silly as Dark Serge wearing a lanyard.
