It was dark, raining. What time it was he couldn’t tell as he slunk up next to this building. It had to be the place, the one remaining Freddy’s that was somehow still miraculously operating. A spark of light and hope for him and his friends.
“Calm down, Robyn, it’s not over yet... this might not be it... shhh...” The plush toy spoke to himself quietly as he carefully broke into a vent on the outside of the building, crawling up into the ducting. The only way in was through here, or at least the only easy way. That didn’t involve breaking things. He slunk as quietly as he could manage, trying to find a room that would be relatively easy to hop down into. Wait, what was this?
This room had bookshelves inside... that would make getting down from the ceiling rather easy. Still, that raised the question of what a pizzeria was doing with actual bookshelves. What kind of room was this anyway? He shrugged to himself, then reached between the bars on the vent and began to undo the screws so he could drop down inside. He had to investigate. He had to, despite a growing sense of dread. What lay inside this place was a total mystery to him, but he hoped that it would help him and his friends, at least.
He winced a little hearing the small screws clatter down onto the floor. Nobody said this plan was perfect. Hopefully nobody noticed. The last thing he wanted was to be greeted in a less-than-friendly manner. Slowly, he eased himself out of the vent, which was now hanging half-open, and onto one of the bookshelves, beginning his descent to the floor. Robyn looked over his shoulder occasionally, pausing halfway when he noticed the fact that there were indeed characters in this room. Oh boy.
