#dark bane

Still got more ocs but this is actually new one. I have been planing to make a Dark Bane oc but exiled one. I need to find oc and canon characters interaction chart. I did make him on Gacha Life 2 and Roblox for making him. It was fine. I have to make his lore but I can it write it in “The Seprent” - Slugterra Fanfic but just explaining start of Vesper’s life.

Recently, I've been thinking about this theory, and I want to share it with you guys.

The reason the Dark Bane know of the surface world is that someone from the surface world (either someone who accidentally fell into Slugterra or a Shane member from a long time ago) told them about it. And promise the dark banes that they would show them their world, only later to be betrayed and banished to the deep caverns permanently by the shadow clan.

When Nacho first arrived in Slugterra, it took a very long time for him to find the perfect everyday outfit that didn't scream 'demon'

Cuz of that, Nacho has a whole wardrobe of different kinds of cloths

a similar thing can be said about the Glammor[a 'magical' disguise of sorts] Nacho ends up using to conseil his true Dark Bane form

a corrupted looking elf made the most sense

He ends up being quite fashion forward weirdly-

Nacho and the other Dark Bane came to Slugterra, they found themselves addicted to sweets.

which, yeah, if I lived like they did I too would be a sugar addict.

Nacho has been known to drink hot sauce like it's juice.

The Dark Bane, with the exception of Nacho, are worse then boomers, and don't understand the SlugNet nor any of Slugterra's Internet Culture.

Despite the chaos, and carnage the Dark Bane caused, multiple romance authors in Slugterra used the Dark Bane in their 'new age Dark Romance' stories

it is, as weird, yet strangely intriguing as it sounds?

The books sold well... to the point one author basically made Slugterra's version of Twilight with the Werewolves and vampires being the Dark Bane and Shadow Clan.

At first Blakk was a little concerned as to how to feed Nacho when the Dark Bane came along.

Eventually Blakk realized Nacho and the other Dark Bane can basically eat like everyone else, but they had a preference for meat.

Nacho's Ghoul's aren't necessarily 'loyal' to him, but the listen in comparison to other Ghouls.

When Quintin learned Nacho was a Dark Bane, he really wanted to study him, even though he more of an engineer then biologist

The inner scientist in Quintin needed to be quenched.

for the short while the other Dark Bane are in Slugterra. They find themselves enjoying Slugterra TV

Nacho has horn polish for his horns

The Dark Bane have their own forms of entertainment that don't involve gladiatorial battle

A few Dark Bane are actually good sculptors, and enjoy it

The younger Dark Bane have never seen Ice or regular water.

the older Dark Bane have.

Nacho spent a full month reading/learning all of Slugterra's history since the last time the Dark Bane where there.

Nacho hates Max Jackson [the in universe actor] for no particular reason

HR at Blakk Industries has fully given up on keeping Nacho and subsequently the other Dark Bane in check.

as long as no one dies, they could care less.

Nacho has had to learn to lightly tap things or his claws would brake and scratch stuff.

that carried over when he was back in the Deep Caverns, the other Dark Bane make fun of him for it.

The Dark Bane, do not need regular sleep.

One Dark Bane became obsessed with Slug Hounds

most creatures in the Deep Cavers are not pet material,

so doggy = fun times

The Dark Bane had a good laugh at the Blasters regular Slugterrarins used.

Nacho has had to, on multiple occasions keep the other Dark Bane from destroying things, and harming humans the worked for them post Back to Blakk.

Nacho had a pet fish, it's name was Zog.

Zog died after a tank cleaning

They are.... but it's mainly for the elites (ie guys shaped like Nacho), since they have a different face build than the regular dark bane, plus their ears are a different shape.

Regular warriors (the skinnier looking ones) when allowed to emerge from the sewer, they wear disguises equal to that of Pronto's in the canon Slugterra. Most wear large hats or hoods to defend their bodies from the sun. The sun will burn their skin. Nacho and the other elites are trained to be able to withstand the sun's rays for longer.

this is going to get fan-ficy real fast so buckle up-

OKAY FIRST-

im going to play god and bend Cannon a little.

So with the exception of Nacho and Brimstone, NONE of the Dark Bane that showed up at the end of 'Back to Blakk' are given CANNONICAL names(feel free to correct me if im wrong). With this in mind, I'm going to claim one of these nameless losers as mine, and pull the biggest pro-gamer move with this Character, and give this knock off devil a Power Rangers Mystic Force Matoombo arc. [a amazing arc btw even if it was rushed]

For anyone not plagued with extensive lore knowledge about Power Rangers like I am(which is A LOT mind you), Matoombo is one of the villains from PR MFs last act, that originally WAS GOING TO NUKE THE CITY(little more complicated than that but a nuke is a good comparison), only to change his mind, make friends with the Pink Ranger, and was going to defect from his former evil allies and be GOOD, only to become the host for The Master, the Big Bad Guy of the series, to be brought back to life essentially, it was very much so non consensual, and Matoombo was ready to Sleeping Beauty himself, permanently, to keep the Ultimate Evil locked away.

He get's got obviously, me and PinkR cry because WOW his own previous ally clocked him to start the apocalypse. He come's back, but Matoombo is quite literally the antithesis of a, 'inherently evil being learning they can be good and do good things' for me.

With that in mind, this DB Character of mine will be a loyal solider at first, and follow orders with little question, from Nacho, Brimstone and Blakk, like the rest of the other nameless Dark Bane.

During the 'Bandoleer of Brothers' era of things, my DB character would have been ordered to take over a Cavern with a number of Blakk's grunts. And while on the way to this Cavern this DB Character is taking in the sights of Slugterra before it's 'inevitably' destroyed. And they are in slight, aw of the world around them.

While stationed in the Cavern I feel, in my bone's the DB and grunts start to 'pack bond'. You know, humans are famous for forming emotional connections with just about anything, and this is no different lmao. And with the grunts not fully knowing if the might just, straight up die by the end of this, the DB slowly starts to feel concerned for these puny humans as they learn more about them and their lives.

Oh no baby's first moral dilemma of conflict in morals and social expectations

one thing leads to another and this little group of a lone Dark Bane and handful of corporate cannon fodder, have this little realization of:

'oh, OH! oh no, where all going to die by the end of this'

And the universal fear of death, the deep seeded innate fear of not having done anything worth living, or dying- that there is so much more to everything than what ever the hell they have been doing.

It's not an immediate change of heart from everyone, but enough of a flip in perspective that grunt's don't wanna do this anymore, and that the DB Character want's to learn more about what being a human means, and see if what they have been told, about 'reclaiming Slugterra' and plunging the world into chaos is really worth it, or just hollow redirect.

I mean there's a hell of a lot more to that, but this post is already getting WAY to long-

Much like the last DB post, I don't think the Gang would react well to seeing my DB Character, like at all. And find it hard to believe they have started the work on attempting to try to change, not to necessarily be good, but to not be a sheep, and figure out if conquest is what they truly want.

As for Nacho, Brimstone and Blakk, to the guillotine for my DB Character, immediately lmao. They are pissed as hell, defectors are not to be tolerated, especially when they are so close to winning.

But yeah- thats like, the most basic just of it without creating a massive brain storm about it lol

The Wiki eats your bandwidth more that you realize! I didn't realize how slow all my other tabs where until I closed that sucker lol

Thinking back, aside from Nacho, the only Dark Bane I remember having a name is Brimstone.

Which, admittedly I think is trippy, I so thought we got the names for the four DB that showed up during the end of Back to BlakkTho I could be wrong?, but guess it makes some sense from a writing standpoint that we didn't?.
