quiet. awkward. follows you around. always waiting outside your classes with your favorite drink already in his hand. he blushes when you touch him. lets people joke about him being “whipped.”
he never corrects them.
because the truth is way worse.
once you’re together, you realize rafe likes dependency, but not his. yours.

when you stop making decisions without him
when you call him first every time something goes wrong
when your friends start fading because “they stress you out”
when you start checking his reactions before saying things
he’s not loud or aggressive about it either. that’s what makes it creepy.
