sitting in the upcafé, minki tried his best to stay focused. when he’d been offered the job of taking photos at a wedding, he’d been ecstatic. the downfall was how late the wedding ran, and not only that, but the bride had been a real pain in the ass. in the time she should’ve probably been off getting it on with her new hubby, she was instead forcing minki to show her every single picture he’d taken of the day before he could go back to his dorm, and she had an emotional rant with every single photo he took. it had taken a good portion of his night away, and exhaustion was creeping it’s way back up as he tried to study for an upcoming exam. with his face in his palm, it was much easier for his eyes to drift shut. as he was nearing a deep sleep, his entire body jerked alert. it would’ve been fine if he weren’t sharing a table, and his knee didn’t slam against it, knocking over everything on it - specifically, the drinks that seemed to miss minki completely, everything falling into the other’s lap. “fuck,” he cursed in pain, reaching down to rub his own knee and far more focused on his own pain than the mess he caused. blinking lazily, he just stared at the scene before tilting his head to the side. “at least my coffee’s cold,” he muttered. honestly, he almost left it at that, but eventually let out an annoyed grunt at the mess he made before standing up and returning with napkins. “sorry,” he said, barely audible, before quickly trying to change the subject.“ya know, i don’t get the hype around weddings. boring as hell, shitty music, and family getting super wasted before spouting opinions no one gives a fuck about. just put the rings on your finger and call it a day.”
