Daradi is the Carja noblewoman you rescue from the estate. She’s been through a lot, and more is still to come.
She’s interesting and someone should go write a long fanfic about her and who she is and what she goes on to do. But for now, let’s talk about how pretty her design is.
She has the clunky machine jewelry many of the Carja noblewomen favor, which is kind of overwhelming, but let’s look beyond that. And keep in mind, this is a very minor character, but they’ve put so many lovely details into her outfit. (Portions of which she probably shares with a number of other npcs, but that’s not the point -- the point is the level of detail that went into even the characters you might not pay much attention to.)
She looks like a fully-realized person. She’d make an impressive cosplay. She has cute shoes.
She’s wearing a long plum silk dress that seems to be gathered along the hem. (It’s hard to tell. I should’ve taken a better front view, but I was concentrating on including the sandals.) The bodice is edged with metallic bronze. There’s also a split teal apron with shining embellishments, including fringed triangular patterns on her stomach and lower back. Over this is a simple taupe sash.
The back view is extremely elegant.
In addition to her machine headdress and pendant, she has layered bronze-colored chokers, perhaps made from leather or cloth. On her right hand she has a simple gold band, a bold orange cartouche ring, and an angular cuff bracelet made from machine parts. They almost look like Focuses, but undoubtedly aren’t. (Unless they are in your fanfic. Go ahead. Say they’re Focuses. Why does Daradi have so many Focuses?)
On her left arm, she has a simple metal bangle with another triangle design. She also has an impressive armlet and bracer set. The effect is similar to Vanasha’s gold net sleeves, but these create a more circuit-like design. Her nails are purple.
Like I said, these elements are probably also scattered across any number of npcs. But I’m still impressed that even a totally peripheral character like Daradi looks so complete and interesting.
