No, not Raoul Dufy, Carlos Nadal. :) I see wha you mean though, sort of similar styles for sure. I actually always try to figure Dufy out, he seemed like such a Matisse ripoff, but he's one of the only guys I still haven't researched.
Firstly, just so you know, I am totally in fangirl mode right now because you followed my blog (just wanted to get that out in the open) and secondly, yes, that’s what I meant actually. Both Nadal and Dufy have very similar styles. I have a few Dufy prints around the house and to be honest, I think he is more than just a brilliant colourist. I think he has more to say. More research is needed!Â
