While pretty much everyone else at the bar had gone to bed a while ago. Seth was still in and out of a light doze with Netflix on for background noise, So it didn't take much beyond hearing his door handle turn to fully wake him up, half expecting one of his parents, or maybe Dainn, to pop their head around his door for whatever reason, but surprised to see Dante instead.

"Uh... Can I help you with something?" he asked, looking sleepy and confused.

"Shit," he muttered, realizing Seth had been, at least mostly, asleep. He had seen the peak of light under the door and had thought he was still up and now he just felt kind of like an asshole.

“Shouldn’t you buy me dinner first?”

“What do you want? We all know you don’t pay us a visit unless there’s something going on with our mother.”

It was strange seeing Emmet again. He looked the same yet different, older and more mature. Dante knew not to get too close. That's what got him in trouble back in middle school. Although, it also got him into therapy, so maybe it had been a good thing.

He watched Emmet for a few moments, following the other's movements. Did he approach? He wanted to, but maybe that was an impulse he should ignore.

“You look terrible,” Dante said flatly, noticing immediately the exhaustion in Hayden’s face. He’d seen it on his mother’s face before. He wondered how qualified she was to be in session right now in this condition. “I can reschedule if you need a nap or something.”

Dante knew Auden wasn’t allowed in the embalming room, but he always let her in anyway. He didn’t really care enough to keep her out, especially when he knew she’d be annoying about it. “It’s a boring day today. I’m just cleaning. You can help me if you want.”

Dante saw Jupiter first and wondered what exactly was going on between her and Dami. Moving forward quietly, he slipped on his Dami mask, as he snaked his arms around her waist from behind, leaning his head against hers as he smirked and spoke softly in her ear with an affectionate inflection. “Hey, you.”

She’d guessed correctly before, but he wasn’t trying to be Dami then like he was now.
