Today was awesome because I took like a 5 hour nap. 

Yesterday was awesome because I didn't get written up despite oversleeping.

Yesterday was awesome because of a slow work day and friend-time WITH MY SEAHORSE.

Today was awesome because I decided to submit something to my writing group again. Haven't decided if I'm going to continue working on the current project or try to revise something. I should probably try to revise something. 

Also, I started looking into getting an associates degree in something computer-related. Just because I like computers, and I have a basic knowledge of how they work. And I'm torn between doing something I am passionate about and being able to survive on my own. Right now being able to survive is more important. Plus, I don't know how to do what I'm passionate about and make money. So I may settle for a decent job and doing creative things on the side. I can write and make videos and whatever in my spare time. I just really want a normal schedule and a full-time job that is willing to pay me benefits. 

I had some friend time today! 

Wheeeeee!

Today was awesome for the following reasons:

- The production crew decided to speak in varying northern accents for our local talk show.

- I got to level 20 in The Hunger Games Adventure game on facebook. Though it's stupid that there isn't a map option yet, so I can't get the proper supplies to further my quests.

- I have a plane ticket for my cousin's wedding in May.

- Eric and I had a lightsaber fight. We had two, actually. At 25, I've finally fulfilled something missing from my childhood.

- Dansicle came over for the first time all week and it was really nice. He got happy drunk, and it was really good to see him laughing so much. Though I hope he isn't hung over in the morning. Had a good chat with him and his brother Dav, about visiting beaches and how we should really make more films since we're all creative and around each other all the time and have cameras.

- I realized some things about myself that I really need to change. Mainly expecting things to happen that will never happen, no matter how much I want them to and how nice they would be. It really isn't fair to the people I'm secretly expecting things from. It sounds disheartening, and it kind of is, but it's a good thing. Maybe I can try to move on with my life now. Though I know it'll be a slow process.

Today was my first official Saturday off. It was pretty fantastic. 

I slept in and went to lunch with some friends from my writing group, which was awesome since we're always trying to plan something together, but one of us is always busy. 

Hung out with Jaime and Dan after that. It was really good seeing Jaime. She's really fun.

Then I sat at Starbucks/my car with Dan and smoked cigarettes and talked about politics and high school and listened to mix CD's that I forgot I had. It reminded me of when I lived with Mom and I would drive up to visit and we would hang out for hours with nowhere to go, but that never bothered us and it always made me really happy.

After I took him home I didn't feel like going home myself, so I drove all over Savannah listening to 80's music and singing it really loudly. It amazes me how much of my brain is dedicated to remembering song lyrics. 

Now I am home and I have the window open and my crayon blanket and my dog and I'm all snuggly and sleepy and I'm just incredibly happy, which hasn't been the case for a while.

Got dressed up and went to a park and then downtown with my seahorse. 

There was nostalgia and fireworks and a full moon. 

It was lovely. 

Today was awesome because I got the someecards app on my phone and now I'm even more addicted than before.
