A one shot that takes place several years after the movie and involves Jareth and Sarah having a civil conversation alone, outside, in the freezing cold, under some mistletoe, on Christmas eve. It’s very well written, Sarah and Jareth are both in character, no stray grammar to be seen, and everything just has a very nice flow. A couple weeks ago I came across a fanfic I thought was this one and was going to recommend it, good thing I read it first because it wasn’t this one. There’s just something about the imagery dansenmacare paints in this fic that has stuck with me through the years and I thoroughly enjoyed finding and reading it again. Definitely worth reading if you’re in the Labby fandom.
