It wasn’t long before the commotion around them got enough that everyone would hear it. Passers by on the street had begun to turn and look as soon as the shouting had started. Chrissy had her back turned to it initially but even she was starting to notice that something was going on. At first people just looked and then after no more than a few beats, they were running to where the noise was coming from.

Confusion was evident on her small face, a glance given towards Danny before her shoulders started to tilt and her head followed suit. “Whats--” Her question was cut off before it even had chance to fully form. Large hands moved to her shoulders and her feet did everything in their power to stop her from stumbling over themselves. In the blink of an eye she was turned in the direction of whatever was going on, only she couldn’t see because Danny was doing a damn good job of blocking her view.

It wasn’t like Chrissy to get mad at people, mostly because she didn’t like the way it made her feel or the fact that things said in the heat of the moment could bring a whole world of hurt and regret later on. But in this instance she felt valid to feel some level of anger.
