Week Six of Spring Has Sprung 2024: Creativity and Innovation!
Daniel, or Danny (son of Tadashi and Fred Hamada) inherited Tadashi's love of robotics, and someday he wants to make robots that help people just like his papa. He enjoys tinkering around in the garage in his spare time, and he's currently working on making a miniature version of Baymax, his papa's most famous creation, based off of old blueprints that he found.
Dawn (daughter of Hera and Kanan Jarrus) also loves robotics, although for her it's more of a hobby--but a hobby with a lot of heart. She wants to be a pilot like her mom when she grows up, but her family also spends time volunteering with Star Wars charity groups like the Rebel Legion and Droid Builders. She's too young to be an official member of either group, but she loves seeing the way her mom's droid, Chopper, makes people smile, so she's been working on her own mini droid, Chopper Jr!
They may not be related by blood (Dawn's adopted older brother Ezra is Danny's uncle by marriage--Dawn was born when Ezra was seventeen) but Danny and Dawn still consider each other family, and Danny always makes time for Dawn when she has questions about robotics or just wants to geek out over some cool new innovation she's discovered!

Danny is here!!!! Rose is so excited to have her big bro!!! (And honestly I might end up giving him a lot of emotional hugs because I miss my big brother ^^;) Not his final outfit (that's still in the mail) and I'm not quite sure what to do with his hair but I couldn't resist posting pics!
Obviously I did a wig swap (fair warning for other customizers: the wig was glued on so well I couldn't get it all off and also the magenta color had strained the vinyl of his hairline--not a huge deal to me but I thought I'd pass the info along!) I used acetone to remove the painted on eyelashes as well as make his lips a bit smaller. And then I gave his eyelashes just a bit of a trim so they weren't as dramatic. Honestly he kind of gives me Pleasant Company vibes now XD
Just a little character introduction: Danny is the oldest of all the Hamada kids, the first kid to ever be born from the incubator Tadashi and Hiro invented so that same sex couples could have biological kids! His dads are Tadashi and Fred--he gets the blue eyes from Fred and the brown hair from Tadashi's mom (and Aunt Cass) but overall in looks takes a lot after Tadashi! He also takes a lot after Tadashi personality wise--he loves robotics and wants to build inventions like his Papa and Uncle Hiro. He's a bit on the serious and studious side, but he has a big heart: he's very protective of his little sister and all his cousins and is usually the one to get them out of trouble (most often Hope since she's a bit more on the mischievous side.) He also enjoys video games and card games, he especially loves Pokemon! (He's working on building his own robot Eevee!)
I felt bad I couldn't bring Rose to a convention today due to a new costume that needed my hands to be free, at least for its first test run, but I brought home a tiny Totoro for her an an owl from a really nice artist I met for Danny!
The cosplay in question: Angel from Hazbin Hotel! I do hope you eventually make Rose a matching cosplay of Charlie now that I've got the hang of the extra pair of arms! People said it felt weird seeing me without a doll and I take that as a compliment XD
