Danny was responsible for writing the book "Linda McCartney: a portrait" which is the only book where the most information is available, provided by Linda herself and people from her circle, rock stars and other people, about her. Because, well, it's his biographical book.
Regarding his friendship with Linda, Danny comments on this in the book:
“I also grew up in New York City in the wrong part, by the way (Queens), but Linda reminded me of the girls I used to hang out with as a teenager: Manhattan girls from wealthier families than mine; stronger, smarter girls who always looked good and knew how to get in and out of restaurants. That sounds superficial, but it means a lot. When I met Linda, it had been several years since I'd stopped dating girls, but I knew she was going to be my best friend. We had the same taste in music, art, and boys. What more could we need to bring us together?"

Interesting comments on John/Paul/Yoko

It's interesting how there are so many comments like "John leaving Paul", or "John going back to Paul", as if Paul was his previous romantic partner before Yoko, and not Cynthia.🤔
