Just a little update on the road to parenthood. I promise a new chapter is coming soon but July is a rough month for me. Might be TMI but last year my six year long relationship fell apart and ended in July so I’m just feeling like garbage right now.

I just ask that you all please be patient for the next update! I know you are all anxiously waiting.

I also just want to say thank you so much for your love and support. I wrote this fic to cope with my break up and I never thought it would ever get to where it is now. I’ve met so many amazing people through this fic and you’ll never understand how much you’ve helped me.

Hi lovelies! I just wanted to make a quick post regarding plagiarism. I’m am so flattered that my works have inspired some of ya’ll to write some of your works! I genuinely love that my work does that.

What I don’t love is people taking my concepts, ideas, formatting, my literal stories without asking me first. I like to think I’m a very kind and understanding person. A lot of you know that if you reach out to me asking to use my work as inspiration I WILL SAY YES!! I have met so many amazing artists this way.

It’s so disheartening to see someone take something I’ve worked so hard on and make tiny changes and post as their own without even reaching out to me. When some of ya’ll reached out to me letting me know this happened to my most popular fic, I won’t lie, I was devastated. I honestly was ready to stop writing The Road to Parenthood because of one person.

If whoever wrote that fic sees this, thank you for taking it down. I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you meant no harm. But in the future, just reach out to an author if you are inspired by their fic. I do this all the time. I’ve made so many friends doing this. I MET MY GIRLFRIEND BY REACHING OUT TO HER LIKE THIS. I promise you, authors don’t bite. 9/10 times you ask to use someone’s fic as inspo they will say yes.

I read your fic for the Lestappen content, but stayed for Sebastian & Mark as well because it was so good. I read it all in one day and you didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t stop reading it, it’s just so beautiful and well-written.

I have so many favourite chapters that I re-read still. Also, excited on what will happen next! Plus, can’t wait what happen to our teenage Lestappen. 🤭
