DANIEL VON BARGEN

            Daniel von Bargen is an American actor who had worked on both stage and screen. He is best known for playing Mr. Kruger on Seinfeld (1997-1998). He also appeared in The Faculty (1998), Silence of the Lambs (1991), The Scarlet Letter (1979), Truman (1995), The X-Files (1998), Basic Instinct (1992), and Looking for Richard (1996).

            Von Bargen was of German and English descent and was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, US and grew up in Southern California. He suffered from diabetes and had one of his legs amputated and was scheduled to have two of his remaining toes amputated but didn’t want to undergo more surgery. He said, ‘I have no children and no life, and I’m tired’. He passed away on 1 March 2015, aged 64, cause unknown to the public.
