"If you’re scared, I’m right here," Daniel reminded as Kath and he took a seat in the middle section of the theater. They wore disguises so no one could recognize or even trace the outlines of their face. He happened to be wearing a short, brown-haired wig that looked tacky along with white brimmed classes. Kathryn wore a curly pink wig with sunglasses that probably caused eyebrows to lift. She claimed that since she wasn’t going as herself, she might as well have fun dressing in a disguise.
"Same goes for you," Kathryn said, winking. They were planing on watching a horror movie and after immediately watch a romance movie.
"Scariest film of the year," Daniel said, reading the pamphlet.
Silence filled the theater as the movie began to roll. A family was shown, laughing, smiling, and playing around. A little girl was playing ball with her brother when the ball went into the neighbor’s side of the fence. She lifted a hand and gestured that she would get it.
She went in and began looking when out of nowhere, a shadow began to follow and immediately jumped at her.
Daniel, along with the entire theater screamed. Kathryn, on the other hand, maintained a calm composure.
"DJ, you okay? I’ll hold your hand," she teased.
"Y-Yeah I’m fine, I was just surprised," he claimed, brushing a wisp of the whig away.
He ended up hanging on to her hand the entire movie. She saw him jolt at some scenes and even began squirming. Needless to say, when the movie ended he hung on to her arm as they went to the next movie—a happier one.
