Daniela (D), Verónica (V)
D: Today, I am interviewing a person whom I consider as an example for my life, someone I really admire. She is my mom. So tell us, What is the most difficult decision you have made?
V: Some years ago I had to decide where to build my new house; I had two options: to made it next to my parents in law´s house or to buy a new place to build it there. It might seem as an easy thing to decide, but the thing was that my relationship with them was not that good. However I chose to stay close to them.
D: It was really hard. I know you made that decision because of your big hard.Could you tell us why did you make such a decision?
V: Well the place we live at is far in the country side and having that in mind as well as knowing that my husband´s siblings live far away, it seemed fair to me to stay there in order to help and support them. I mean I considered their age , leaving them by their own was not an option and they would have to stay alone all the time.
D: That is cute from you. How long have you live there?
V: I think that we have been living there for four years.
D: So during this four years,What consequences of living next to my grandparents have you noticed?
V: First of all I have realized that It was not the right decision,It would have been better have our home far from theirs. Yet we could say that it has its positives it also has it negatives, and their are more than the positives. A positive aspect is that your dad and me can leave you alone knowing that they will take care of you as well as if we all leave the house is always being observed. some negatives are the lack of privacy an the fact that far from getting better the rapport between us has get worse due to the normal disagreements on opinions and believes. It is not in vain that God said that we must leave the parents house when getting married.
D: I understand even when they do not live with us n the same house they are difficult to deal with. If you were given the option to change your choice, would you have made another decision?
V: Yes, I would definitely have made a different decision.
D: Thanks mom you are a wonderful person.
