As it turns out, agreeing to a favor ever before knowing exactly what in entailed was a horrible idea. Daniel knew this but oh Paul was his best friend and so of course he’d agreed to it and partially it was so he could get the conversation to end. Just a simple favor he just had to introduce himself to a new guest lecturer. As far as he could tell that didn’t entail anything else then a cup of tea or coffee from the kiosk on campus. Little did Pierce know, the dean may have actually been trying to get Daniel to make a new friend, something about the two Daniels having a similar something about them. 

People were promised LGBT representation. Years later and a cheap hetero romance plot later, they haven’t received it. Maybe I’m crazy, but I feel people are justified in their anger over the lack of said promised representation. Especially since we previously received Ar/kos and heavily hinted Re/nora.

I feel I should also state that Miles ability to write a romance should hold no bearing on his ability to write LGBT characters. The 2 aren’t mutually exclusive.

I want to add 242 LGBT characters were killed on screen between 2015 and 2016 alone. If there’s a reason we want representation is because we kept getting killed in fiction for shit reasons while cishets get a variety of happy endings and three-dimensional characters. 

It’s fucking tiring to hear about people like me still getting killed in real life and then seeing the same damn thing on TV.

Likely Ruby’s silver eyes relate to the moon. The moon is a maternal symbol and could have been the “mother” of the two gods. They broke free of her womb and that is why it is shattered.

That’s a very interesting take but that’s hardly a solid link between the Silver Eyes and the Brothers. There has been nothing so far to suggest one, or both, were involved in the creation of such an ability. Neither has it been hinted that the state of the moon is tied to the gods in any manner.

It’s in fact been implied Salem is responsible for what happened to the moon and while that particular thread intrigues me that is not what I’m concerned about right now. If the moon had been relevant to the story of the Brothers, you’d think Qrow would have mentioned it rather than have the camera pan towards the shattered celestial object just as Qrow was mentioning Salem.

This highlights another problem. The lack of culture in Remnant sorta starts creating these issues where we don’t know if there’s concepts we can apply to its society. Do they actually view the moon as motherly? No one is ever seen worshiping it or attributing those sorts of qualities to it.

I misspoke, sorry. What I meant to say was that if they wanted to they could devote time in future volumes to developing other mlm/wlw relationships or relationships with trans characters.
