So, Willow and Oz break up, right, and Willow is absolutely SHATTERED, DESTROYED.  Remember Riley picked her up and got her out of the street because she wasn't even paying attention to the cars and the traffic?  Remember when she did that spell and she just wanted to poof and make the pain go away, but she couldn't, because you can't, because break ups suck and they hurt and they're hard but you HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM.  Which is so reminiscent of real life, all you can do is wait for the pain to recede a little.

And so she does, she waits, and she goes to Wicca Group, and she doesn't even really like the group, but she tried, she tried to join a group, become part of a community, reach out even though it sucked and it hurt and I bet Willow would have preferred to stay inside reading and doing homework.  So she reaches out, and guess what, she meets Tara.  This timid, shy, but absolutely beautiful woman who understands her, who gets her, who sees Wicca as more than what the other women see it as.

AND SHE STARTS TO HEAL.  Like, it's so... that's what happens, that's how healing happens.

AND THEN OZ COMES BACK INTO THE FUCKING PICTURE.  And it's not JUST a tactic Joss and the other creators used to create conflict.  We love conflict, we as creators make conflict whenever and wherever possible.  We're sadistic, we admit it, and the viewers and readers fucking hate it while loving it at the same time.  But that's not the ONLY reason.  He did it also because THAT HAPPENS.  When you're in a good relationship with someone, finally good, after so much bad, your ex tends to show up!  And it sucks and it's stupid but it fucking happens!

And then you have to decide.  And that fucking sucks.

But Tara, she is so understanding.  She's just... if Willow goes back to Oz, she'll understand.  And it's so heartbreaking.
