#daniel maidert

After dress shopping, Arabella invited her friend Shanaya and her husband Daniel over to Elijah’s place to relax over good food. 

Elijah:  Hey babe. How’d things go today?

Arabella:  Can’t complain. It was a long day, but a good one.

While her mother was telling her father about the new pregnancy, Jade wandered around in the suddenly dark apartment, looking for her parents. 

In the kitchen though, she encountered a stranger. Jade hadn’t met the maid yet and at first, she didn’t really know what to do. They both stood there for a few seconds, staring at each other.

Jade eventually broke the silence.

Jade (slowly lifting her hand in the air to wave at the stranger before her): “Ello... Me Jade. Why you in pyjama’s?”

Maid (blushing a little): “Hello there Jade. I’m Daniel and this is my uniform. I’m the maid.”

Jade (looking at Daniel apprehensively): “Whatsa maid?”

Daniel (smiling): “I help your parents to keep the apartment clean. I make your clothes clean again and I make your messes disappear.”

Jade (thinking, then smiling): “Bye!”
