I’m so obsessed with Hadestown, you guys. If you don’t know what it is, Hadestown is a folk opera written by singer/songwriter Anais Mitchell based on the Orpheus Myth. It was produced off-Broadway last summer and directed by my favourite director ever, Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812).
This song was written for the show but didn’t appear on the original concept album, so it’s really hard to find good versions of it. I’ve linked my tab in the comments for any guitarists who want to try their hand at this song.
