A bunch of other people have pointed out that Wolfwood’s expression here looks uncannily like that one panel of Vash from the hospital yuri arc.
What I can't get over is how fucking young he looks. Without his glasses, he looks a hell of a lot more like the little kid he used to be. Because, at the end of the day, that's who he is: a little boy he's scared and afraid, but trying so hard to be brave for everyone.
It actually reminds me of this one small panel from volume 10, after Chapel and Razlo have been defeated, where Wolfwood sees Melanie and the kids off before they leave. He looks just as tired and young and worn down there. No wonder he always wears his glasses. He's no good at hiding anything he's feeling with those big, expressive eyes of his.
This is what Wolfwood looks like when he's not putting on his tough guy front. He's a boy way in over his head, and I'm not okay about it.

It's late as hell and I got a really bad idea for a fic
this one probably won't be posted in the slightest but- it's just reader pretending to be really sweet to Mikey, getting to know him, even fucking him once or twice even though he was hesitant at first and then in school pretend he doesn't even exist.
When they fuck, reader is so mean to him, telling him how useless he is, how him and his loser friends are utterly pathetic, and making him take pills and shit he would've never touched if it wasn't because of them.
He knows that they're ruining him, turning him into the equivalent of a used up zombie, and yet- he actually likes it... because this is the only way he'll ever be with them.
There's no happy ending. Reader doesn't ever regret what they did, and end up leaving him for college where they do the same to other guys, and he's left utterly ruined for anyone else, as everytime he ever dares move on and date someone new, all he can be reminded of is Reader's bitter cruelness and how much he misses it.
But hey, maybe I will post something like thjs because so many people want the mcr guys to do this to THEM, maybe some will like doing it the other way around.
