Arranged Marriage AU: Okay but how excellent would a Yuri on Ice Arranged Marriage AU be? They are both instantly in love with one another and simultaneously convinced that the other could never feel the same way. Yuuri sweeps Victor off his feet after getting drunk on the wedding night-- and then in the weeks after becomes cold and withdrawn, leaving Victor to wonder what could have happened. Yuuri doesn’t remember that night at all and is convinced he made a complete ass of himself and that Victor doesn’t deserve to be married to someone like him, and so distances himself. Slowly they ~learn to love~. It’d be great. 

oooooooomfg I actually really love this. Like, Vex has been calling Percy “darling” since forever it’s not new, and lately he’s been using terms of endearment for her too. “Dear” is the most common but he’s used “sweetheart” on occasion too and it just warms her to hear those little bits of affection from him. And then he calls her “my love” and for some reason her whole world just stops. It’s the possessive, Vex thinks. She is his love, as much as he is hers, in those two words she knows that this place and this person is Home and she’s never had something she loved so profoundly that all of it comes crashing down upon her with just two small words. 

HUH. Good question. They use casual terms of endearment so often (“dear”/ “darling”, “my love” is just one step up from that), I don’t know that it would make her blush unless he was being oozingly sincere with affection. Even though they’re both most honest and open with one another they both wear masks so often, I don’t think they often speak about the profundity of their affection. Which may be the point, I suppose, to make her blush by putting all of his feelings out on the table, but that strikes me as a secondary goal in that circumstance. At the same time he’s clearly the type who plans in advance, and calling Vex a specific endearment to get a specific reaction seems like a very Percy thing to do, especially if his aim is to surprise and delight her as much as she does him.

Vax eventually trying so hard to give Keyleth her birthright, to bring her to her people so she can be the great leader he knows she can be. Refusing the reward because in the end he knows he did the right thing.
