HUH. Good question. They use casual terms of endearment so often (“dear”/ “darling”, “my love” is just one step up from that), I don’t know that it would make her blush unless he was being oozingly sincere with affection. Even though they’re both most honest and open with one another they both wear masks so often, I don’t think they often speak about the profundity of their affection. Which may be the point, I suppose, to make her blush by putting all of his feelings out on the table, but that strikes me as a secondary goal in that circumstance. At the same time he’s clearly the type who plans in advance, and calling Vex a specific endearment to get a specific reaction seems like a very Percy thing to do, especially if his aim is to surprise and delight her as much as she does him.Â
