6. A song you think of for this ship?

You're also getting multiple answers, because they've been mucking about in my brain for the better part of a year now. How did this happen, why did this happen, etc.

Firstly, my Mary/Matthew magnum opus fanfic May Every Nail Be Sure comes from (a mishearing of) a Vienna Teng lyric from her song Landsailor. It's a love song that is also about the miracle of modern farming technology, so it's perfect for them. Anyways that lyric is: "Landsailor (I'm your landsailor)/In the bed that we've made/May every nail be shown (May every nail be shown)". I do like my version of the lyric better, so that's what the fic title remains.

The second Vienna Teng is Stray Italian Greyhound. "I've just settled into the glass half empty, made myself at home/And so why now?/Oh, please not now/I just stopped believing in happy endings, harbors of my own/But you had to come along, didn't you?"

The other Vienna Teng is Antebellum. "I know the border lines we drew between us/Keep the weapons down,/Keep the wounded safe/I know our antebellum innocence/Was never meant to see the light of our armistice./But how much would I give to have it back again?"

I always think Inkpot Gods by The Amazing Devil is a Perc'ahlia song. Especially the dual refrains of ""Please, let her live just one more day/Cause she is so much more than all her scars" and "And to those gods, I will speak bluntly/"We've an accord, if you ever touch or harm him/Please, rest assured that you might not fear a man/But to a woman, by the end, you'll kneel and plead"

Also, it wouldn't be one of my favorite ships if I couldn't apply at least one Vienna Teng song to them. And Never Look Away is both an excellent song and and fits them very well. "So do they ever shut up because you said so/Or do you overthink 'em all?/Somebody ought to corrupt you on the dancefloor/And take you home/And show you all your demons, and desires, and dark sides"

Lastly Chasing Twisters by Delta Rae is an OG Perc'ahlia song. Partly due to this iconic fanvid that if I ever get around to learning to video edit I am going to make a tribute to using TLOVM footage.

Percy is tall and lanky in the way that he makes the best big spoon, but I do think they mix it up on occasion.

I'm going to say a tiramisu. A little bit grown up and dark and sexy but also incredibly sweet. And also one of my favorites.
