So I was listening to one of the many Harry Potter podcasts that I use to spend my time and they were discussing how Sirius' time in Azkaban may have delayed his emotional development. And they site his anger and rudeness towards Snape as the reasoning... Can I just point out something? Severus Snape was a Death Eater for many years and was, be it directly or indirectly, responsible for the death of Lily and James Potter. Professor Dumbledore kept Snape out of prison even though he was guilty. SIRIUS BLACK SPENT 12 YEARS IN AZKABAN PRISON FOR THE CRIME OF BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATHS OF LILY AND JAMES POTTER! (among other related things) Albus Dumbledore did nothing to even give him a trial! So just saying. Maybe Sirius was pissed that Snape got to stay out of prison and got to be there for the first couple of years Harry was in the Wizarding World? Look I'm not saying Sirius was a saint. I'm sure he was still a prat and I'm sure Azkaban left a mark but I wouldn't assume all of it had to do with school boy bullying.
