Continuing the topic of “dangerous“, here is part two of ‘Talking sharks while surrounded by sharks.” The following are quotes from the video. Oh, and if you are concerned about the moment the shark hits me, please see my post on that specific topic from two days ago. *********** “I’ve just been below the surface with these animals, now I am above the service with these animals. They need a healthy amount of respect because they are predators. I want ever say shorts aren’t dangerous, they have teeth for a reason. They’d be pretty shitty sharks if they didn’t have teeth. But I’m dangerous, you’re dangerous, your dog at home is dangerous in the wrong situation. The fact that something is dangerous doesn’t mean that it needs to be killed. It means you need to respect it and learn how to live with it. Coexistence doesn’t mean killing everything else that has teeth; call existence means learning how to live with other animals on this planet, other predators. We’re predators too. A little common sense goes a long way, having said that, I don’t know that getting in the water with sharks while they are eating is necessarily common sense. But it shows how much of an effort these sharks make not to bite us” ———————- Filmed by @danabbottsharks and @ollie_putnam while on location for the film Monsters.
