I just learned that Dan Harrison, owner of Boondox kennels and writer of the Dachshund History Project, has died. I’ve been reading his articles and he was an enormous wealth of information on the breed as it is in the United States.
I didn’t know him, but I’m sad. He posted just a few days ago about an article he was excited to be working on.
