“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I mumbled nervously, I wanted to keep it a secret, but obviously that wasn’t possible now.

“Oh please, I notice the way you look at me and how your voice changes when you talk to me, Y/N.” Damon said now coming closer to me. 

My gaze fell into my shoes, not being able to look at him from embarrassment. I felt a finger on my chin and pulling it up, making me look at those beautiful blue eyes of him.

Looking in the mirror you pull up your t shirt and grab at your belly, it seemed huge to you, “How could Damon ever love someone like me?” you thought to yourself, “I’m fat and ugly, there are girls who Damon would much prefer other than me.” You and Damon had been dating for a year and you knew he loved you and you loved him to, but you were always convinced that it was too good to be true; that one day he would leave you for someone thinner or prettier than you. You looked in the mirror again a tear starting to roll down your cheek, you feel two arms wrap around your waist; one reaches up for your top and pulls it down, the other remains on your waist. You turn so your facing Damon looking onto his deep blue-brown eyes. He pulls up a hand and gently brushes the tear away with his thumb. You try to smile at him but it ends up weak and false; he intertwines his fingers in yours and leads you to his bed, sitting down he pulls you into his lap. “What’s up?” He whispers softly into your ear.

“I…I don’t see how you could love someone like me. I’m fat and ugly. There are other girls out there who would make you a lot happier than I could and….” You were interrupted by Damon’s lips coming up to meet yours, it was a soft yet passionate kiss, he pulled away and looked lovingly into your eyes. “ I love you so much (Y/N). You are perfect to me, and no one makes me happier. Without you my life would go back to it’s normal crappy self, not only do you help my anxiety but you also help me to be happy with myself and where my life is going. Whenever I see you I can’t help but feel my heart melt from how beautiful you are. I love and you are so frickin’ beautiful.” He pulls you into a hug, your head nestled into his neck, “You are so beautiful.” You look up and can’t help but smile. “I’m sorry Dee, I just…you know… just feel meh.” 

“You shouldn’t have to feel like that” he pulls you in for another kiss, which was just as heavenly as the last.

“I love you (Y/N)” He says between kissing you.

“I love you too Dee” You both smile into the kiss.
