So I found an old handmade jumperskirt pattern at a second hand shop that looks like it's never been used before. I have a few things I need to fix on it though. Like the fact that it's a dress size too small, and I need to make the skirt even a bit bigger to fit a petticoat. Is there any help you have for me T.T this is my first sewing project.
If it's your first sewing project I would just scrap it and try something else. That's a lot of extra work for a first sewing project because you would have to alter the pattern to make it bigger in more than one way.For your first sewing project I would start with something more simple. Try looking through these tutorials. A lot of them are very easy to follow and will be a better start than trying to modify a pattern.
