DAISY: How old were you when you had your first kiss?

“Been a smoochin’ fiend all my life!”

The first kiss he ever got on his cheek that wasn’t entirely platonic and really got his attention was when he was nine. It was a girl in his fourth grade class, given to him during recess. He doesn’t quite remember if he did anything to prompt it but it sure was cute. Quick as anything, she basically ran up, did it, and then ran away. Maybe it was for a game, he can’t be sure.

His first peck on the lips was when Damien was eleven. This was a different girl. They had kind of been pseudo-dating in the way playground romances go; holding hands, saying you’re dating, but not actually doing anything beyond that. Well, one day they realized that and were like huh, maybe we should. But neither of them really knew how kisses were supposed to go outside of seeing movies and their parents doing those quick ones. They decided to try one of those and it basically amounted to pressing fish lips together for a second. She didn’t seem that impressed by it and Damien pretended he wasn’t either but it made him want to try kissing more. She didn’t want to though and they broke things off a couple weeks later because she started mega-crushing on someone else.

Damien’s first actual real honest to god kiss was when he was about fourteen and is the one he would actually talk about if asked. He did a lot of dumb things and went to a lot of stupid parties and at these dumb parties were games like Spin the Bottle or Seven Minutes in Heaven. By then he’d seen raunchier things and thought he kinda knew what he was doing and how to be smooth, he was certainly more confident than most of the other boys attending these things. It was actually from Truth or Dare, one of the girls was asked a truth she didn’t want to answer so she had to do a dare instead which was that she got to pick who but she had to kiss one of the boys. Damien was pretty proud of himself because he was the one she picked on her own. It was still kind of clumsy but there was a lot of oooh-ing from the other kids, especially since he tried to be all suave and cup her cheek. Poor girl was red as a beet the rest of the game but she came back for another afterwards when it was just them and it really bolstered Damien’s ego.

CALLA LILY: If you died right now, what song would you want to play at your funeral?

“Highway to Hell.”

He doesn’t really want to think about that though so it’s kind of a dismissive joke answer.

TULIP: For your birthday, what kind of cake do you ask for?

“Black and red velvet four layer cake ‘n butter cream icing sounds like a dream, doesn’t it?”

Damien hasn’t actually asked for a cake outright in years but if no one else gets one he’ll go out and grab one for himself as a treat. He likes variety though so he tends to change it up and experiment. Chocolate frosting, strawberry frosting, devil’s food, marble, even pumpkin cake, it’s different every year.

HIBISCUS: Did you ever play an instrument? If so what?

“Drums, kinda.”

He’s very rhythm oriented but he never took any formal lessons or even pursued it beyond required music classes. The most he’s done otherwise is own a pair of drumsticks and he just used those to drum on everything under the sun and act like he already knew how to do it. One impulse purchase later in his life was a high quality drum set but he only used it a couple of times and it just took up space so he ended up selling it.

MAGNOLIA: Favorite kind of candy?

“Hot Tamales!”

Any kind of cinnamon flavored candy, to be honest. Damien does have a sweet tooth but he’ll keep it rationed and sparing ‘cause he wants to stay fit and keep his teeth pretty.

ASTER: Would you rather be cold or hot?

“I’m already hot.”

Damien prefers warm weather and he is naturally a heat factory, so if you’re ever cold just cuddle up with him for a few minutes and you’ll be toasty. He would rather be hot than cold though because, well, being hot means he gets to strip and he really likes being naked.

DANDELION: Do you think you’re important?

“Everyone’s important.”

“They both got their benefits! It depends on circumstances, time. Right now I’m just flingin’ though, or with friends.”

“Ah, that’s a– hm. S’a case by case basis thing, I think? I mean I started foolin’ around when I was like… fourteen? Fifteen? Like, as long as they know what they’re gettin’ into, I don’t think it’s really my business.”

“I’m a deal breaker.” -laughs- “No, uh, normal shit I guess? If they won’t let me do my own thing… Listen, if they’re mean to service workers get the fuck out of there immediately.”

“Nah, not right now. Single and mingling.”

“Yeah! Not exclusively, you can find great people just through meet ups, but I can’t really think of anyone better to date if you’re goin’ for comfort.”

27: What is their biggest regret?

oh god though there are so… so many… he has made so many poor choices (or was unable to alter the course of pour circumstances, other times) and they all hit him very hard though he tries his best to seem like NOTHING IS WRONG AND HIS LIFE IS GREAT???

as such, his “biggest” regret is very relative and he feels like they all have so much weight to them but – if it had to be ONE, it was definitely going to That Particular Bar on That Particular Night ten years ago because that really altered his entire life ultimately for the worse. or, you know, handling that entire situation improperly from the start and trying to hide when you think you killed a guy in self defense.

♡  :Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back. 

Oh there’s lots of smells he likes and associates with things, people, memories. That scent you get on your hands when handling metal (which I personally hate but he likes) reminds him of when he was a teen and dealing with one of his first major crushes. He smelled like leather, metallic skin, and smoke.

✖ :Describe a way to make them uneasy or apprehensive.

Well first off, he doesn’t like needles so hospital visits involving them (or less savory scenarios) are immediately going to make him uneasy. Damien tries not to show it as best he can but it’s kind of hard to suppress anxiety and panic. Gore really messes with him, he does not like it at all.

☾ :On a sleepless night, what would they be found doing?

Masturbating. Drinking, walking aimlessly, sitting on roof tops and looking at the stars. If he can’t sleep he’ll do just about anything but try, anything that might help tire him out and won’t leave him alone with his thoughts.

Gosh, that’s a bit hard to pin point for him because he’s a very physical and affectionate person to begin with. I think cuddling, though, just calm, comfortable, vulnerable cuddling.

3. How many pillows does your OC sleep with?

Two, himself. He keeps four total on the bed; two for each side. Sometimes he cuddles up with one of the extra pillows though, he’s a sleep hugger.

4. Is your OC good at keeping secrets?

Very, when he wants or needs to be. If he slips up it’s 99% intentional but, for the most part, he keeps other people’s business their business and doesn’t tend to spread gossip. He’ll totally listen to it though, and get out the popcorn.

11. Is your OC a blanket hog?

If it’s cold, yes, but he’s more likely to just koala onto whoever is next to him in bed in that case. Otherwise he spreads out all along the bed if there’s space, hangs limbs off the side, you know.

14. Happy birthday! What kind of present would your OC want?

He has always wanted a stripper to bust out of a giant cake and not once has he had it happen. Bucket list.

15. Something that grosses your OC out?

Damien’s pretty hard to gross out, honestly – even if he finds something gross he’ll usually laugh at it. One thing that definitely makes his skin crawl though is that nasty spit from chewing tobacco. Fuck off with that.

16. Your OC is suddenly on an adventure! Where do they go and what do they do?

BEST ADVENTURE would be to take a road trip on his bike, just pack the barest essentials and drive wherever the road takes him. He doesn’t need a map, he’ll just stumble upon interesting sights and meet interesting people. Maybe he gets lost, that’s okay with him.

20. A obscure/ridiculous fear your OC has?

It isn’t something that has greatly hindered his life but Damien really doesn’t like needles or injections. Guess that isn’t especially obscure or ridiculous though, just a little unexpected of him.

23. What is your OC’s first memory?

Damien vaguely recalls pulling off his own diaper and wearing it on his head then running around naked while his mom tried to catch him. He doesn’t remember much else about the context or precisely how old he was but it makes him laugh.
