From the amazing Estridae again, we this time have "Zombie 'verse" Damian and Tim ^ - ^
It was nice to see how she handled an older Tim, and Damian in general.
For those not familiar with this 'verse:
A year post end of Red Robin/Batman & Robin the Joker caused the zombie apocalypse- adding to the horror of zombies, everyone dies with that rictus grin that carries on through the rot.
Bruce fell first, simply because they didn't yet have any idea what they were dealing with.
To better cover the entire 3 islands of Gotham proper, and help save as many people as they could, everyone broke off into teams.
No power, the streets at ground level completely unsafe, and too congested for vehicles anyway, the splitting up was a necessary evil.
Arkham island became Gotham's only infection-free isolated community, and it's led by Babs, senior and injured in action members of the GCPD, and some other familiar faces.
Unfortunately the separation and limited poor means of communication meant that other than Babs, the remaining members of the Bat clan rarely if ever had contact with one another. Babs being the exception considering survivors were transported to her by everyone.
Teams : Dick & Damian, Steph & Cass, Tim & Pru with the remnants of the GCPD. Selina was solo in the gap between Dick and Tim's territories, and no one knew that Jason had come back to town before everything had hit.
By the time Tim and Damian run into each other again, it's 7 years into the outbreak. Dick has been dead 6 months, Jason 8, and Damian is 18 and Tim is 26. Damian is running around in the cowl because it's a symbol and sentimentality, and Tim has long since run out of proper gear.
Dick and Damian secured Wayne Tower straight at the start, and it has been Damian's base of operations all along. Most of the building is simply locked down and not in use, but he and Dick made several vital modifications throughout the years. Tim has been far less fortunate.
