Golden Child

Me:

Has already taught myself how to properly pronounce Hangul.

Has learned the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) because I was in choir all throughout school and we sang a lot of songs in other languages and we used IPA to know how to pronounce the lyrics properly.

Has cross referenced IPA when trying to learn Korean pronunciation to make sure they match up.

Knows that "ㅏ" is an open central unrounded vowel represented by ä in IPA.

Knows that DamDaDi (담다디) is therefore pronounced däm dä di (dahm dah dee for those who don't know IPA).

Has also heard the song where they say it 41 times

I recently started casually learning a little more about Golden Child and getting into them, but I've had this song on my playlist for, what? at least a year or so??? It just showed up as a recommendation on my Spotify Daily Mix a while ago and I loved it immediately so I had to save it even though I didn't stan the group yet 😂

I'm pretty sure that this was the first Golden Child song I ever heard? (Either this one or Genie, shout out to Genie btw, also a bop 👀) and it's a good first impression!!!

I don't have very complicated reasons for liking this, it just slaps 🤷 it's a bop 😌

I love the choreography, we love big groups who are synchronized and use their numbers for cool formations 😌, I think the baseball concept is very cute, I really like MVs where it just looks like the members are all running around having fun together bc my heart is soft 😔💗, and there are a lot of cute shots in the MV that I like, some of which I will share with you now:
