was rereading ships in the night to respond to a series of at least 20 comments left by a single commenter over the chapters... found this in the end notes of ch20 and im ngl damn. some of these ideas are good. i haven't written anything tog in ages and honestly i doubt i'll go back and write new fics for the fandom now that i have new hyperfixations but some of these ideas have merit for fandom translations... i've written detective au for all of my past fandoms except lookism so i guess that means something.
