with spring break nearby and a lot of people planning to leave campus for whatever week long trip they had planned, elliot just wanted to have a night on the beach. she loved it there, and really didn’t mind staying for her break; but she almost wished her friends would stay too and they could all make the most out of a ‘staycation’ rather than a vacation.
nonetheless, elliot was in her dorm room, pulling on a sweater as she gazed out the window at the sunset over the horizon. she always admired them, and loved that she scored a room with a view of the ocean. she finally tore her gaze away and grabbed her tote bag that was filled with all her beach necessities for when she went out for bonfires.
of course, she was running late, making her way out to the elevator after locking her door. at least she lived in close proximity to the beach. she somewhat jogged there, her flip flops making the most annoying sound with each stride on the sidewalk that led to the sand. she finally saw dimitri and her face lit up. she kicked off her shoes once in the sand, and picked them up, joining him at his side. “hey stranger.” she said with a grin, wrapping him in a hug.
