Okay so OS reinstalled, computer restarted, and now it's is checking its registry again for some reason... Hopefully not a problem lmao. I was gonna get some sleep while it installed but now I want to wait and make sure everything is okay. Also I will delete all these computer ranting posts once I can get on the Internet proper again. Just blacklist 'personal' because there's a lot of them.

That's interesting... She might be the same haha. He doesn't seem to be her type of character at the moment, but now I'm extra curious to see if that changes.

what about Fenris? Or she never got to him him yet. And Anders? That just sounds too fun XD
She hasn't meant Fenris yet (or anyone else not listed), but he's probably the one I'm most curious about in regards to her feelings for him. Because she really doesn't like a lot of anger or yelling and Fenris is, well... Fenris lmao. I mean, his anger is valid, absolutely, but she may not be partial to him because of it (this is why I'm predicting an Anders romance for her). Also she seems to be taking personal offence to anyone spouting anti-mage viewpoints, as she's playing a mage, so that's not going to help XD
I plan to keep updating as we go (she's only giving me an hour or two a week right now, so this might take ages lmao), so we'll definitely have to see. I'm hoping to finish off Anders' first quest with her this week at least, so hopefully we'll have a more concrete opinion on him after that. She also called him 'useful' and I'm uncertain what to make of that just yet XD

What about Hawke? Or you consider them more of a combination of game+player (player's imagination) than a separate character? Or something else?
Mmmm, I do like Hawke, but I’d say, yeah, she (cause mine’s female) has too much of ‘me’ in her to see her as truly separate. Like, Hawke is player defined, and while I love the shit out of mine (and some other people’s), I don’t see them as having a distinct personality in the absence of the player, you know? Hawke falls more into OC territory, in my mind, since everyone has a different idea of their personality, appearance, gender, etc.
So yeah, Hawke is kind of a combination of what the game makes them, plus the player’s imagination, and neither have 100% control of how Hawke acts (the player chooses the general personality, but the game decides what the details of that are, basically). And even then, when it comes to writing and whatnot, very few people actually write Hawke as purely any one colour (I’d say the most common interpretation is purple/blue mix), something the game does not allow due to limits in mechanics.
Does that make sense? I really do love the shit out of Hawke, but there are so many variations that it feels weird to put them on a ‘favourite’ list haha.
