Why blog about feminism?
Because I’ve heard this too many times:
Oh I’m not a feminist, because you know we’re already equal and feminists are just kind of shouty girls who hate men and think all men are rapists and are all about making women the rulers of the world.They just take it too far. Well, I guess maybe feminists are needed in Africa or like… Saudi Arabia, but what’s the point here?
This is an actual quote. Well, more or less.
And being sick of:
a) Giving a lecture on feminism
b) Biting my lip until it bleeds
c) Trying to sum all the reasons to be a feminist in one sentence
I decided I’d simply list all the reasons I could think of, try to aim for 365 and simply be able to direct people to this blog when the previous point of view is uttered.
