Dalek hat
For the first time ever I crocheted something useful.
I really hate to wear hats, scarfs and gloves, but if you're riding a bike in winter in Germany, you really don't have a choice. A friend knitted me a scarf last year, but so far I never owned a hat. So this year around Christmas I crocheted a hat, but if I'm forced to wear a hat it should at least be Doctor Who or Harry Potter related and since I don't really like the idea of wearing Luna's lion hat I went with this pattern for a Dalek hat: http://www.examiner.com/article/doctor-who-crochet-your-very-own-dalek-hat I only added one line of dc's in the middle because it looked to short at that stage and it was a good decision otherwise my head fortunately seems to have the same proportions as the pattern's author.
