Looking up daisies for this prompt led me down a rabbit hole...
Daisyworld is a computer simulation (developed by James Lovelock and Andrew Watson in the 1980s) showing how life can regulate a planet's climate. In the model, black and white daisies either warm or cool the planet by absorbing or reflecting sunlight.
As conditions change, their growth adjusts, stabilizing the temperature. It illustrates how life and environment interact to maintain balance.
