A lot of things had been left unsaid between Donald and Daisy since Louie's injury. There were days where their unspoken tension got the best of them, bitterly speaking to each other in passing over petty nonsense, and then there were nights that were the opposite, where past feelings lingered and they both silently wished things to be better between them. Even with being around his family more lately, Donald hadn't felt this lonely in a long time. He was constantly helping the family and never taking care of himself, though that was partially his own fault, wanting to keep busy and not think about his own heartache. It was hard though, with Daisy always closeby for the boys. He wasn't sure what got over him tonight, whether it was because it had been a particularly difficult day at home or if it was because he needed to feel a sense of normalcy for once, but as Daisy reached for her purse as if she were getting ready to leave, Donald found himself reaching out to her arm, grabbing her attention. "ɦɛʏ, աǟɨȶ.." As she met his gaze, he froze momentarily. Daisy was unpredictable, and it was always difficult for him to put himself out there to her, unknowing if he'd get rejected (again). He wanted to try anyway, hoping the gentle sadness in his eyes would be enough of an indication that he was completely genuine. "… աɦʏ ɖօռ'ȶ ʏօʊ ֆȶǟʏ ɦɛʀɛ ʄօʀ ȶɦɛ ռɨɢɦȶ?" He suggested, voice quiet as if he were treading lightly, like he'd be able to take the rejection better this way if she were to say no. Even if it came off desperate or pathetic, he really didn't have anything to lose besides what little he had left of his dignity.
