does anyone else have tics that only happen when you're holding a pen or pencil?
it makes it so hard to do schoolwork sometimes :'( and journalling too...

9. What is your most unique tic?
A lot of my tics revolve around circles, so I'd say that's pretty unique. Like I'll move my head or arm or finger in circles. I think my most unique is moving my middle finger in circles when I hold a pen. It pretty much only happens when I'm holding a pen.

6. How long did it take you to love your tics (or are you still getting there)?
I think I started learning to love my tics when I learned what they were. I always just thought there was something wrong with me and wondered why I couldn't stop moving in weird ways but when I learned it was tics, I became a lot more accepting of them. For me, the hardest part about loving my tics isn't societal pressure, but the fact that they're just annoying.

is it possible to have tics and not realize they're tics? I used to have this thing where I would blink my eyes a ton and it wasn't really something I could control but I never thought of it as a tic. Now it's changed into my eyes squeezing shut and that definitely feels like a tic
Yes absolutely! I've had tics since I was really little and never knew that they were tics and people would ask me why I was blinking so much or rolling my eyes or whatever and I'd be like.... yeah actually I don't know, I can't really stop though for some reason?
