Shoma’s first senior season 2015-2016
Part 4: GPF 2015
Shoma made it to the GPF in his first senior season alongside compatriots Daisuke Murakami and Yuzuru Hanyu!

Icenetwork: How does it feel to skate on the same ice as all these other great skaters, and to be one of them?
Uno: Actually, I would love to watch all these great skaters around me during practice, but I can’t! I need to concentrate on my own skating. And I’m happy to be with them. (Interview by Icenetwork)
Shoma placed 4th in the SP and 4th in the free skate with a clean performance and 190.32 points and managed to claim the Bronze medal in his first GPF.

The medal ceremony invented the “wedding pose” joke! Here is a fan video of the “accident”
When posing for the photographers, Yuzuru had asked Shoma to get near him and Javier and link up with his arm. But Shoma wasn’t sure what to do, so he put his arm through Yuzuru’s one, instead of placing it on his back, as you’d usually do. “That’s for weddings!”, reacted Yuzuru, laughing heartily.
