I haven't prepared any edits for this day. I'm just going to rant. 

why do I still love them? there are just too many damn reasons.

I love how their relationship developed so slowly. how they came to realize that there's more than meets the eye. how they discovered that they are much more alike than they every thought or wanted to be. how they somehow always cared for one another even thought they "hated" eachother. how they cheered one another on to go after the things they wanted in life, even when they themselves forgot what it was they wanted. how they playfully insulted eachanother. how they were best friends. how they could always confide in one another. how the most important thing for them was to make sure the other is happy. how they respected eachother. how they made cute faces. how they just wanted to spend the day together. how they were so madly deeply in love. this list really could go on and on.

the point is the relationship Dan and Blair have is the relationship I aspire to have. this is why they are so, so dear to my heart.

however, I don't want to miss out another reason why I love them so much. each and every Dair shipper keeps contributing to this. it is such an honor to be part of this fandom. you are one of the most lovely people around. you are all so incredibly talented and inspiring and for a lack of better word asdfghjkl. shipping Dair without you wouldn't be the same. you keep my love for them alive. so thank you for that <3
