Nagisa flinched at the first hit, taking it as though he'd almost expected it. But then the next one came, and another one. He couldn't do a damn thing to defend himself but grab onto both of Masaru's fists, and struggle to keep them away.     “Stop it! STOP IT!” He pleaded, lifting his head and revealing his eyes; pooling with tears.           “JUST STOP IT!” Tears descended into helpless sobs; nails digging into Masaru’s wrists in an effort to make him stop.         “DON’T YOU GET IT?! I ONLY SAID THOSE THINGS BECAUSE I--      Because...                             ...You think I don’t see how you bottle it all in?!         I recognise it more than anybody, because I’m the damn SAME!               You don’t think I want to crawl into somebody’s bed in the night after the ghost stories, or go tell someone that I’m not scared and have them understand that I am without me needing to admit it?”
