So. I’ve been trying out sleep methods when I remember before sleep. Just tossing on a subliminal and setting intention. Just keeping it low pressure and chill.
Bruh I woke up and was gonna tell my bf something. Like I was mid sentence as I sat up and turned to tell him. And then was immediately extremely confused why he wasn’t there.
I know I talk in my sleep sometimes. But this was like I was mid sentence telling him about something i thought he would find interesting or replying to something he said and was offended he had the audacity to not be there.
Which I thought was kinda funny.
I noticed my dreams were a little different feeling and sillier than normal somewhat, but also had more storylines. (I can’t really remember cause they kinda faded. But I really liked that new candle I bought in my dream but also didn’t want my apartment to constantly smell like pecans?)
I feel like I’ve hit a progress point somehow with my subconscious, where it’s like
“Oh,okay. Maybe this isn’t that scary. It is just normal.”
I’ve always had super vivid story dreams, so I think allowing my subconscious to explore shifting in my dreamscape is like letting it happen in a safe space kinda for it with no pressure.
Kinda like learning to ride a bike.
You can do it, you just gotta get your balance right. But that can be hard when you have someone yelling in your ear constantly
“WHY ARENT YOU BALANCING. YOU GOTTA JUST DO IT. YOURE TAKING FOREVER. “
Just being able to try it out for yourself with no pressure so you can get the feel for it. Maybe you scrape your knees abit or take a tumble.
But you keep going because you know you can do it.
