The Daher TBM 940 was announced in March 2019 and is an upgrade to their TBM 930 model. It includes many upgrades including autothrottle technology, auto land technology (Homesafe), along with multiple cabin configurations to choose from.
Powered by a single Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66D engine, it is said to have low operational costs. Plus, it is also considered one of the most powerful engines in the PT6A family. When it comes to avionics, the TBM 940 is equipped with the Garmin G3000. It features an all glass integrated avionics system with touch screens and high resolution displays. The maximum cruise speed on the TBM 940 is approximately Mach 0.49, while it's maximum cruise altitude is approx 31,000 ft. It's maximum range is approximately 1,730 nautical miles while traveling with 4 passengers.
