I'm out here living my best life making my ancestors proud. I mean I felt the presence of my Greay Great Great Great Grandmother Mableleen cheering me on. I don't actually have a grandmother name Mableleen but you get my point. This is a classic southern green. Cooked for hours, in browned ham hock (google it but every good southern green has ham Hicks or smoked turkey necks) in onions, Garlic, a dash of pepper sauce, vinegar and just a wee bit of sugar.
